OUR VISION

The world is becoming increasingly divided. We are being pulled in different directions, between right and left, growth and cuts, fear and hope. We believe we do not have to choose either-or when we can choose both. Right now, Finland needs a force that builds rather than tears apart.

In our politics, freedom goes hand in hand with responsibility. Growth meets sustainability, security meets openness, and entrepreneurship meets welfare. This is not a compromise. It is a clear political direction. And it is precisely this that sets the SFP apart from others.

SFP has a unique ability to listen, unite, and build bridges. While others raise walls, we build a shared society for everyone who wants to belong and feel at home. That is why we are needed now more than ever.

We do not live in the past. Instead, we develop and strengthen what has made Finland and the Nordic countries the best place to live, ensuring they remain so in the future.

Democracy requires eye contact

We see the person, not just the opinion. We believe democracy can only survive through respect, attentiveness, and a willingness to build something together, even when we disagree. Creating consensus is not easy, but that is exactly why it is our mission.

Open-mindedness and experience

The future is created when the curiosity of youth meets the wisdom of experience. We believe in cooperation between generations, not division by age, but bridge-building. Change requires both: the courage to ask questions and the ability to listen, understand, and unite.

We are Finland’s most multilingual and multicultural party, and that is precisely why we can build a future where more people feel at home. We do not build society for one language, one background, or one worldview, but for a shared life together. Diversity is not an obstacle. It is the foundation for renewed hope.

Creativity is the raw material of the future
